Hood Music was founded by Anthony “Lil A” Horton as a production house. Its purpose was to produce his own
tracks and to earn income doing what he love doing. The next obvious move was to get the music out. After pursuing
Lil A for sometime for a management deal Kalvin Bennett and Lil A decided to create an Independent label to manage
packaging, marketing and distributing all finished products. Thus, I’m Rich Entertainment Record Label and Hood

Experience: Singing since 7, Member of a number of singing groups throughout school. Wrote 2 plays one
performed in New York “At The Club” and “At Heaven’s Door” performed at the Playhouse in Atlanta. Traveled
throughout Europe as part of special duty for the US Army performing for Dignateries soldiers and major audiences.
Kalvin was raised in Harlem, New York and now reside in the LA (Lovely Atlanta) . Kalvin has mingled in the
entertainment industry for over 30 years.Kalvin was singing for his parents parties at an very early age. Kalvin co-
founded Creative Impact Productions in Peekskill NY in 1990 and promoted one of the first live Def Jam Comedy
shows. Kalvin has promoted such Artists in the early 90s such as Tracy Morgan (we road a beat down mustang in the
dead of winter to get to gigs in the Tri-State area), Brand Nubian (life savers), Leaders of the New School (no show,
Sup Busta?), Nice & Smooth (enjoyed these brothers) Lord Finesse,Bill Bellamy (Kewl), Reggie McFadden (my boi),
Fig and Face-man (dedicated and dependable brothers) and more. I’m Rich Entertainment work closely with the elite
in the Atlanta music market. I’m Rich Entertainment has forged relationships with Street Talk Newspaper, Break
Magazine, SIR, hot 107.9, 95.5 the beat, Hot Block, P Brown Entertainment and Diamond Mind Marketing just to name
a few.
